Catholic Recovery Ministries Step 6 Spot check version to remove Character Defects.

If you feel a Character Defect is dogging you then this is a quick version that can be done anytime or anywhere. Not in lieu of Confession. 

Think of the Sin that's the biggest and hurting your recovery the most. 

Ask Divine Mercy of Jesus and Mother Mary for removal of sin and or sin nature. Say The Sin, Hail Mary, then Say I repent this sin, and ask they will not mine be done and thank you. Amen.

This is a quick spot check and ask for removal of the sin or sin nature. 

Then boogie on down to Church and Go to Confession.
